For around two years I had the privilege of freelancing with The Big Issue, an organisation whose mission and impact I deeply admire. I contributed to a variety of campaigns by creating both digital and print assets, including social media graphics, online promotional materials, financial documents, and print advertisements. Working closely with the team, I developed visually engaging content that aligned with The Big Issue's mission. This role allowed me to combine creativity with purpose, supporting campaigns that drive positive social change - a cause I’m truly passionate about. Here are a few of the projects I was involved in.
Big Wish. Christmas social media campaign
II created a series of custom illustrations to enhance and bring character to the supplied initial layout, adding in supplied photography and ensuring that each visual element complemented the campaign’s core messaging and copy. Following this, I developed multiple size variations and layouts for the various formats needed for the six-week social media campaign.
Big Issue Shops. Online and print ads
Showcasing their new online shop, with environmentally sustainable and ethical products. The client wanted a series of simple layouts that would be easily adapted for the various specs adding in new products as and when required.
